Ola Paradise,
The late Ola Paradise was born in North Carolina to a large family. She was raised by a strong mother and father that taught here the ways of life. She passed on these teachings to her children, grandchildren and great grands. This was a woman that loved God, loved people and loved life.
Ola was a honored by congress for her generous care for others in the Forest Houses Projects in the Bronx, New York. This honor was done on Mothers Day and proclaimed Ola Paradise day.
So many people of all walks of life would visit here for advice and decision making. She was a woman of no judgment which made it easy for anyone to talk to her and share their most intimate details of life. The editor of this magazine was a grandson and he says that he looks up to three women in his family. His mother, grandmother and great grandmother. These women are three great roots of the family tree. Ola's main advice to everyone was " you can do or accomplish anything you put your mind too, and don't let no one turn you around."
